GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision, responsible for accurately and efficiently processing phone orders and counter orders for both carry out and delivery. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 16 years old with restaurant experience preferred unless employed in a location selling packaged alcohol where you must be 21 years of age. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be able to attend all regularly scheduled meetings. Must be able to speak clear and concise English. Must very enthusiastically support the theme of the restaurant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1) Answers the phone and accurately processes all phone orders for both carry out and delivery.
2) Keeps working area orderly and clean.
3) Assists Bus Staff clean and reset tables as needed.
4) Has complete knowledge and recognition of all menu items and offerings and ability to describe menu items.
5) Ability to use the POS computer system for all order entries and dispatching of orders.
6) Possesses good knowledge of the local delivery area and streets.
7) Practices correct credit card and check policies.
8) Abides by Divine Dining’s Cash Handling Policy.
9) Greets customers at counter with a smile.
10) Knows specifications for correct product packaging.
11) Has knowledge of and recommends all other company properties.
12) Ability to demonstrate familiarity with company history, other Divine Dining Group restaurants, and basic employee policy.
13) Understands the dress code and obtains a suitable uniform.
14) Has knowledge of all company customer service policies.
15) Knowledge and adherence of privacy laws dealing with identity theft.
