JOB TITLE: FOOD RUNNER

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Must be 16 years old. Under general supervision, responsible for the prompt and efficient running of food plates. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be able to attend all regularly scheduled meetings. Must very enthusiastically support the theme of the restaurant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1) Completes all opening and closing procedures for this position and assists Wait Staff.
2) Attentive and sensitive to guests’ needs.
3) Ensures guest satisfaction.
4) Has a complete knowledge and recognition of all menu items and ability to describe menu items.
5) Conducts themselves in a professional and mature manner.
6) Efficiently delivers food to dining tables according to orders.
7) Utilizes correct table numbers and has complete working knowledge of the table pivot point system.
8) Pre-buses tables.
9) Completes all side work duties.
10) Ensures all side areas, service areas and counters are kept in a neat and orderly fashion.
11) Ensures station, as well as entire restaurant, is always clean.
12) Maintains friendly, understanding attitude with all Employees.
13) Completes quality control for all food items.
14) Ability to demonstrate familiarity with company history, other Divine Dining Group restaurants, and basic employee policy.
15) Understands the dress code and obtains a suitable uniform.
16) Has knowledge of all company customer service policies.
